Components Engine is a software to create interactive parts catalogs intended for all companies that need to improve the management of technical documentation, spare parts service and aftersales and that want to adopt a program to create cutting-edge electronic parts catalogs.
Components Engine is a spare parts software that enables you to automatically create parts manuals in 2D and 3D and generate a template for the hardcopy format catalog or for the creation of the PDF parts catalog.
The Editor of the parts catalog allows you to import and modify vector and raster drawings in the most common file formats (DXF, DWG, PDF, AI, EPS) generated by CAD software and the parts lists from ERP and PLM/PDM systems.
Besides Components Engine can create 3D parts catalogs that can be navigated from any browser (Explorer, Chrome, Safari, etc…) and mobile device (smartphone, tablet, Android and iOS)
3D spare parts catalogs allow to select from the 3D model the codes to add to the cart, rotate the assembly and view the hierarchical levels of the 3D model.
You can add items to the cart and send the parts order via email from either 2D parts catalog and 3D parts catalog
Thanks to the “Additional Order Recipient” functionality, the customer can choose the email address to send the order to and with the Order History feature he can view the list of past orders and re-order the same items or remove/add items to the shopping cart.
The parts catalog generated with the Components Engine software generates two emails: the first will be sent to the user as a reminder of the order he has placed while the second email will be sent to the company that can upload the order to the ERP system (SAP, Navision, Sagi, etc…).
