The collaboration focused on developing a digital interactive spare parts catalog and tailoring the solution to resolve two specific challenges faced by the client:

With the technical support of Components Engine, the entire spare parts order management process transitioned to the user through an online interface. This significantly reduced the costs associated with internal order management.

 

To address the issue of errors, a simple yet highly effective check was implemented during access to the online catalog: the requirement for the machine's serial number. As a result, Alpego's spare parts catalog started displaying data, drawings, and codes exclusively related to the entered serial number, leaving no room for error. This allowed each user to make purchases with confidence, as they knew the displayed parts were specific to their own machinery, reducing order processing time as well.
