What is the reason? do I need to desable something? The mayority of my numbers are normal, just in some cases, that we dont use kit codes , we put letters: 42, 42A, 42B for example. Thank You RE : Hotspot text Ciodof In Tools menu --> Option -->Drawings sheet you can set the options for converting hostpot " Do not convert to hotspots (separate list items with,) ": Check to ignore text containing characters present in the text box to the right. If you have checked the option " Do not convert to hotspots (separate list items with,)", from the list on the right, you have to delete the letter included in your drawings, small and capital letters both(a, b, A, B, etc.);if you unchecked the option " Do not convert to hotspots (separate list items with,) " all the text object in you drawings will be converted into hotspot. My question is: when i press the numbers in the drawing, can i jump to their sub drawings instead of the standard details form popping up telling me what it is? Components Engine manages pieces and number in the same mode (exception for automatic text recognition & association), so you can link a pieces, a spare, a picture, a text or a number presents in the drawing directly to another drawing (parents drawing, children drawings, and so on). Bjorn When i look at the test site, i see a few machines (like the dishwasher, motorcycle, etc..) and when i click on a 'machine' i get the detail drawing where i can order the spareparts. Can i have a level in between? What i mean is that my customers machines are rather complex, so they split one machine up to 10 or 20 sub-drawings. So basically it means one (or more) subfolder. RE : How many levels can be created into catalogues? Charlie Components Engine is a very flexible platform, you can manage how many levels you want. E.g. you can create a main root containing a plant layout, then 4 subfolders containing the 4 parts of the whole plant, then each of them may contains another various folders and subfolders (infinite levels) where drawings and other attachments are stored. When i have 10 different machines on one site (with there spareparts), can that be one catalogue or do you mean it are 10 catalogues? Or is a catalogue a site. This comes from the overview with the different editions of your software: as mentioned at the site: Every Components Engine "Enterprise" Licence and Components Engine "Enterprise + Print Extension" allows 3 catalogues to be uploaded to the Components Engine web servers for a full year.
