Yes, you can directly link a number in order to jump to an another drawing.
Components Engine manages pieces and number in the same mode (exception for automatic text recognition & association), so you can link a pieces, a spare, a picture, a text or a number presents in the drawing directly to another drawing (parents drawing, children drawings, and so on).

Here you can find various kind of associations: on the main drawing you will jump directly to child node, here if you click on hotspot 2 system will ask you if you want to see part info or jump to part detailed drawing (for singualr pieces ordering). You can manage this kind of connection by editor of Components Engine.
