A Web Extension Server can be seen as the space hosted by a spare parts catalog project . In other words, publishing your catalogs on-line requires activating one or more Web Extension Servers. A project may contain several groups of interactive drawings with their subgroups; each group can be managed as a product category, a single plant, a work order or any other type of grouping. Each project is therefore able to manage several catalogs , each able to be associated (hence profiled) to a distinct user. Here is an example:
If the company that is creating its spare parts catalog has 4 product lines, each containing 10 machines, it will be sufficient to use one Web Extension Server which will contain all 40 machines subdivided into as many levels as there are production lines.
