The creation, management and publication of the spare parts catalogues become automated through Components Engine with a few and simple clicks. Functionalities: - Macro-functionality "Make your texts interactive automatically" : with this functionality CE recognizes all the texts of a drawing and convert them to Hotspot texts in a few seconds;
- Preview window : in this window you can modify the features of the vector files (mathematics algorithm) before to import them in the Editor. So you will save time during the development of the project;
- New OCR tool : this new tool allows the recognition of whole groups of raster texts and convert them to vector texts. It's also possible the recognition of all the raster texts and covert them with a click;
- Integration of CE to the company's management system : with the integration of CE to the company management system, the import of the data-list is automated. Once chosen the data-list structure, CE will enter tha data automatically, pick them up from the company management system;
- Direct online and offline publication: this tool allows to publish the same file online and offline in a few seconds;
- Extend the same icons to the groups and/or subgroups of the products tree : this functionality allows to extend the same icon for all the groups of the tree structure or for all the subgroups of a family with a single click. You can choose among a wide range of customized icons (this is anew functionality too);
- Set up and selection of the order form layout and direct print from the publication window : in this way you can choose, modify and publish the layout for the offline version.
What's coming soon: - Import of the drawings from a directory
This new functionality is included in the SP4 (it will be released in a couple of weeks), it will allow the import of all the drawings from the directory of your pc. For each drawing imported, CE will create a node with the same name of the file. You can also convert all your texts to hotspot and decide how many levels of your vector drawings you want to explode.
For PDF files, CE will import all the pages of the document with a simple click.
So with a single action CE will create the tree structure of the products, it will import all the files, it will convert your texts to hotspot and it will match them to the relative data-list. It's impossible to do better!
