Converting spare parts tables
The set-up filters in the
Components Engine editor enable to convert all drawing types
(exploded, assembly, etc.) into interactive tables. In a few
seconds, it is possible to go from a simple dimensioned drawing to one that is
fully sensitive and directly connected to the codes in the
list.
Updating published catalogs
Updating individual spare
parts subject to replacement or revisions by the manufacturer, thanks
to the use of Components Engine, is quick and intuitive.
It
is also possible to release individual catalog update files to
all customers who have the catalog in CD form (simply by sending an email with a
small updating attachment).
The elimination or replacement of a spare part
can be recorded historically in case of direct order with the known code; in
this case, whoever has initiated the search/order will be notified of
the replacement/elimination of the code.
