Components Engine CE²

Introduction

CE² works on the same platform as the normal Components Engine licences. CE² uses all of the technological functions that are found within the Components Engine products, including the importation of vector /PDF/raster drawings, the automatic recognition of hotspots, OCR algorithms, in-depth editing functions and lots more. It also has additional functions that allow for the operations carried out by Components Engine to be configured in a completely personalised manner.

CE² is so flexible that it can be interfaced with any type of application in any environment. CE² allows for Components Engine technology to be integrated into previously existing applications or services.

Description

CE² Basic Version

• The links between hotspots and applications will be entered in a data-import table. Clicking on a hotspot (the interactive area) you will be addressed to the codes contained into the relationship table.
• An interface window will allow user to set the linking string. Any project has one linking string (the same code’s structure).
• CE² allows to import a folder contained different files (DWG,DXF, PDF) and for each of this file it will create a node in the tree structure and it will generate the hotspots (the interactive areas) in an automated way.

CE² Advanced Version

• Chance to create a different linking string for each node (drawing).
• The “relationship table” will contain the positions of the parts contained in the drawings (hotspots)
• It allows generating links to other drawings of the same project.*
• Each drawing will have a Flash and a HTML file with the same name. The Flash file will be contained in the HTML file.
• The user is able to choose the names of the HTML + Flash output files .

*The creation of links to drawings contained in other projects can be implemented on demand.
